Wuz Gandhi a homosexual?

De bus man is  a Sai Baba devotee so I jump in de bus an' we talk 'Sai Ram' . Meh min' deh pun de tings I gah fuh do , when de bus man shout at me.. 'Wuz Gandhi a homosexual'.
I jump an' seh.. whuh? Who? . Bus man seh how dey bad namin' Gandhi an' sehin how he wuz a homosexual.
I seh.. suh whuh wrang if he wuz a homosexual.. he aint do whuh he had to do? It mek anyting different?
Bus man seh.. dat is not de point, but how dey could lie?
I seh.. well far as I know, dey find de love letters dat Gandhi write to de white man he did like.

Bus man seh.. so what.. two man cyan like each odder? Why can't a man tell anodda man he love him wid out it being homosexual?

I seh.. well all ah duh.. true true.. but how you know dat dem aint had someting going on?

Bus man seh why dem Christian people slanderin' Hindu leaders like dat. 

I tell de bus man, nah.. is because you lookin' at de ting from a christian perspective , dat you tink someting wrong wid Gandhi fuh liking anodda man.  I tell de Bus man dat Hindu book like Ramayan got ting about napumsuka and third gender an' dat dem ting was never problem in Hindu culture.

So I seh.. Yes,the Hindu scriptures do not have any special condemnation for homosexuality. The Hindu literature is very diverse.

I seh, but Hinduism is diverse.. do you hear what others have to say? De conductor den talk a set of tings from different Upanishads and my head scrambling through all dem ting I does read.. but nutting aint comin' ..

Bus man meanwhile.. husslin' de passengers.. he 'lowin' de conductor fuh talk and just open and close de door as needed.



By dis time.. de bus reach Bourda .. de conductor and de driver ask me if i coming out now.. I seh yeah yeah.. even tho' i had to come out de next stop.

Anodda day I stand up wid meh two salt bag full wid market ting, an; dem man pass again.. de conductor look at me an' smile.. but fortunately - ah mean.. unfortunately.. dem was going Campbelville Kitty, an' I wuz going Kitty.

Turpentine mango madness

Some of the mango was stuck on the stubble around my mouth. I looked at the mirror, a bit of shame because I had just collected an invitation from a well dressed guy and I wonder how I must have looked to him.. look at dis big man .. he cyan eat mango good . Thing is.. wiping off mango from stubble is difficult.. and the casual swipe with a hand which might have some juice is also useless. Y ou are 16 years old and many people hope that 16 years old would be close to completing school. I am sorry that we could not make things good for you to be in school. What dreams did you have? The spider which drew me in..

  Spider Go down in the yard , wondering if I should so something about the banana suckers which springing up all over, in my mind some story to spread them out and then others saying lef them  and then I look between the broad green leaves and see the large delicate web.   In the middle, the black and gold/yellow spider being very still.  I have not seen one of these before and I realise that I have not seen spiders for awhile in the yard or the house (maybe the lizards? ). And so I try to move under the banana leaves, in between them so as not to disturb the web and to check out the spider. And I check it every day that I go down. Other animals might move when they sense 'humans' but in the hot afternoon, the spider is still.  Bokeh I fiddle with camera, reading out about bokeh and trying to understand how I could catch cobweb on an image with the spider on it, much as I suspect the spider has me caught in a way.  I check for it every time I go down...
