Ministuhs told to stop crying so much...

Cabinet about crying

Cabinet meeting and Real Prezident was vex really bad. "What yall tink it is, a blasted funeral" 

Pretend Prezident was not listening as he was thinking of the shade thrown about how there were no more post-Cabinet press briefings like the good old days. But how could he explain that no decisions were really made in Cabinet and that just in Whatsapp messages and exchanges and that he only found out sometimes when he was reading the newspapers or scrolling through his fake Facebook profile. 

Real Prezident had called the meeting because there was an increase of Ministuhs breaking down and crying when they were out and about . The flood disasters had ended and he had been pleased with how the camera people had found nice images of the Ministuhs wading in the waters and so.

But now that flood 

Crying

"You are supposed to make people cry, not cry in front of people. " He turned to the Ministuh of Misinformation - and you.. you need to tell your people to stop writing things like "Ministuh break down in tears " .. and tell them not to show those images of Ministuh's crying. 

There was some beautiful video of a citizen wearing a mask putting her hand on the shoulder of a Ministuh who was crying and saying "I am so grateful to you for giving me this opportunity to serve you and to get a salary." The PR Team had caught the  Ministuh crying after  telling people who were not employed that they had to work hard and fail at businesses and so on and do things like that. The Ministuh had never owned a business really so the Ministuh was really moved to cry.  The PR team had done a beautiful job. Two other Ministuhs after watching the video had also started crying at public events.

The Ministuh of MisInformation had a problem too because even the camera people and the writers of public information were also moved to tears watching the Ministuh's crying and the expensive equipment had damaged from the salty tears. Very different from going in flood water.

 Real Prezident was vexed..He had planned a lot more of these things where Ministuhs would go giving handouts and so to people and the last thing he wanted was the Ministuhs to be crying in public. He had no problem with them crying when he berated them for not doing things which he had said he would do, or for doing things which they thought they were supposed to do but which he had changed his mind. 

"We need to fix this"  Real Prezident was known as an action man. "I need ideas..."

Fixing the tears

The Ministuhs did not want to tell Real Prezident the reason for the tears. What had happened was that the Ministuh in Dark Shades, who was known for his beautiful singing voice as well as his erudite speeches in other places and more so when he was under the influence - he never drove under the influence but was known to burst into song when under the influence. 

One night he was abiding with social distancing protocols and stayed home and watched speeches of Founder Leader and drank rum and he felt kumradely and nostalgic. 

So he sent he Sub-Cabinet Whatsapp group (the group which did not include Real Prezident) his list of favourite songs starting with the Dosti Medley (WARNING : I had my youtube on autoplay and the thing started to play and I started to cry. I had to take a moment). His list included things like Sad Movies Make Me Cry.  The Group was special in that no one could delete any messages so that nobody could deny anything.

And some of the Ministuhs had started playing the playlist at some of the events where citizens were going on and on about the problems they faced. So the Ministuhs started crying.  One cried at the opening of a bridge. Another at the repair of a school. Another one at the opening of a computer room in a place which had many computer rooms before.

One of the bright young Ministuhs said "I have an idea.. "

Real Prezident said.. "go ahead".. 

The other Ministuhs sighed inwardly and were about to scroll their phones when they remembered that the sad songs were on autoplay. They were forced to listen to their young kumrade.

"Why don't we play these songs at the public events in the background so citizens can start crying. And we can wear ear plugs so we don't have to hear the songs but in case we already know how not to listen and to tune out things so that shouldn't be a problem"

There was loud agreement around the table. 

The Ministuh of the sad song playlist started out to sing one of the songs but Real Prezident heard him in time and hollered "Shut up"

And the entire Cabinet fell silent waiting for a chance to go out and try their new idea.
