Gold, greed, kissing, cannibals, dams - Mohenjo Daro imagined as Bollywood

Two people said the film was not all ah duh, and one said, but is a pictchuh fuh see.. Place is hot hot and the cinema fare to enjoy like air conditioning was available.

Mohenjo Daro is a 2016 film imagined from the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro. It already get cuss for its lack of historical accuracy  , but ow man come on is Bollywood.. why would anyone expect anything to be real and accurate?

(Which is why I get frikened when people get caught up in Bollywood weddings and I hope and pray that they last longer than the movies do)

Hrithik Roshan walking around, though like he getting lil stiff up now, muscles and all. The star girl is a new one, but well.. she is not Kajol.

The camera shots are beautiful and there are some interesting effects. Hey, like when our star bai takes long to kill a massive crocodile.

The villains are all dark skinned, as bollywood does. Recently, we had a discussion about dark skinned villains when some youth did a skit in which the villain was 'black and ugly'.

The city was built, it seems not far from a dam. Farmers suffered. The man who built the dam is killed in wonderful poetic justice when the dam breaks. The dam was built to get gold from the river bed.. this is thing about the river bed with gold is close to home. Heck.. El Dorado.. maybe this is a mix up story.

And yep.. our evil man was smuggling gold to do weapons trading. some kind of satire on current trends?

There is a gladiator scene - two Tajik man-eating people .. not sure if they could not find man-eaters from any other part of the world.

Some of the costumes are really silly, but then, who knows, the artists probably did sketches based on the

and some Governance messages ' I don't want to rule the people, i want to serve the people'' and the part where the high chair is toppled over as the 'people will rule, not the senate chief'..

The song and dance sequences.. well..  is not lHum Apke Hain Koun.

There is the kiss.. and then another kiss.. and a girl in front of me said 'girl, why you stop, I would not have stopped'.. and I was like.. but you know.. back in the day yall used to be much more erotic and so when you had to do everything except kiss..

The last scene of building a bridge of boats on a rising river.. beautiful scenes there..

It was a nice coolie picture, as many of them are.. with all the expected flaws and the nice surprises.
