Dusk/Night walking with a cheapshot camera..

An invitation from Avinash S Richard to a Night photo walk came earlier in the week. It seemed a good thing to try to do.. mental health management requires sometimes plunging into the unknown and facing up with the fears.. unknown topic with a group of people who I did not know. So plans made but in the end, comfort zone beckoned.. but in my head something said.. get the rass out, take the camera and go walk about.. start at near 6pm and see what happens.. what you willl learn.

So in a half hour or so.. a walk around the block, jump up on the seawall. Trying to hold hand steady as the man said, or to brace on something to avoid shaking as night time requires steady hands.

It was interesting looking at the night things.. and how the light works differently. And bifocal lens spectacles means seeing things different from the camera would..

So no perfection.. but..53 images and cut down a bit

First a practice shot.. a few of them

One thing about the evening is that you could look at the sky..

This orange thing on the ground and the shadow of the lamp post

Wanted to get my own shadow..

The light here was bright..

Tree over the burial ground and the orange light and so..

Sea was loud and dark.. spray was forming.. yeah.. better in the day really..

One of three houses in the street with the glimpse of yellow light.. the old architecture..

this part of the road was orange..

Something about the distant light on this pile of gravel.. but could not get the shadows and so

and same light on another pile of gravel..

same light also on a plant in the yard..

Felt good afterwards about doing this..
